Series of major canine disease ( common cold)

Dogs infected with cold

Dogs are infected with the cold virus as humans.

The most prominent symptoms are:

Sneezing, coughing, gonorrhea, congestion, and tearing of the eyes.

Treatment:

(1) Visit the veterinarian to exclude other diseases more serious than the common cold.

(2) The doctor will initially conduct a physical examination of the dog that includes hearing its heart and lungs and may request diagnostic tests to ensure that the symptoms that the dog suffers from are only a cold, and these tests include x-rays, fecal analysis, and a blood test to make sure that he does not suffer from any other diseases.

(3) The doctor will look into the cause of the common cold; which is often treated on its own, and if it needs treatment, the doctor will prescribe treatments that include antibiotics and sedatives for coughing and gonorrhea, especially if the dog's immunity is weak.
